Samantha Wourms |
Samantha is a Chemistry major in her fourth year at UNBC. She started
her education at CNC, doing the University Transfer program. While
there, she volunteered for their "career day" where grade 10 students
from high schools came to the college to investigate the choices CNC
offered for post secondary education. During the “career day”, she
demonstrated fractional distillation and it's uses, while other
students demonstrated gas chromatography and IR machines, pH meters,
and a quick little 'explosion'. Samantha currently volunteers for Big
Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George, and works at the Treasure Cove
Casino. Her hobbies include going to the gym, cooking, and going out
for dinner (she loves food!). Samantha was born and raised in Prince
George and attended both John McInnis and PGSS. She plans to enter the
Education Program in September 2009 after completing her Bachelor of
Science in December 2008.
