Christopher Uy

Chris grew up and went to school in Prince George and would like to be part of bringing an educational program like Geneskool North to his local schools – Sacred Heart Elementary School and Duchess Park Secondary School - for the first time. Chris volunteered at the hospital as a junior volunteer who visited geriatric patients for 4 years; as well, he coached a group of young pre-competitive gymnasts for a year. He really enjoyed working with youth and would like to continue volunteering with youth around PG in an area that he has a passion for. His hobbies include being a competitive gymnast and a very amateur photographer. Chris has done cancer research with Dr. Chow Lee at UNBC and he has a variety of laboratory experiences.
