Caitlin Pitt

Caitlin is originally from Chetwynd, B.C. In 2007, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UNBC and she is currently working on a Master’s of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies in Biology. Her research project involves investigating the functions of several bark beetle enzymes with suspected roles in host toxin breakdown and aggregation pheromone synthesis. She looks forward to bringing some of the things she has learned to Geneskool North and sharing that knowledge with students and future researchers.
