The world of genetics and genomics can be fascinating but has a reputation for being difficult and/or boring. Plus, the field is always changing. These things can make a difficult subject. However, the more you learn about genetics, the more interesting and relevant it becomes to both students and teachers.
Genome BC has developed several initiatives to help teachers and others understand the world of genetics. This website has many activities and articles that can be taken directly into the classroom.
We have organized the material by grade, grouping content into the published Prescribed Learning Outcomes. There are also separate pages for animations and activities.
